Visual identity for the exhibition "Dezign: Design Driven by gen Z".
In the context of the Madrid Design Festival 2024, IED Madrid proposes a collective installation where you can discover a map of proposals that the GenZ of designers IED Madrid projects for the new scenarios that will transform the experiences of living, health, culture, diversity, tourism, digital and consumption in our cities.
Process
Designing the Identity
For the image of this exhibition we decided to mix organic abstract shapes with geometrical shapes inspired by pixels. We also combined two typographies, an accessible sans serif for important information such as date, location, etc. and a more experimental one that matches the vibe of the exhibition and the Z generation.
Creating the visual elements for the exhibition
From this image we created the graphic elements that would give identity to the exhibition. On one hand we designed the posters and advertising banners online and offline, and on the other hand the elements within the exhibition itself as the explanatory posters of the exhibition, the billboard of each project and the signage and decorative vinyls of the space.
